Selections follow original hues. Saturation and lightness also affect the image-driven voice strength.

Choose a colour pad, then assign a sound. Keys 1-8 audition the channels; Space plays or pauses while this desk is focused.

02 / Resonance plate

SIMPLIFIED SQUARE MODEL

Assign a voice and press Play to excite the plate.

Model / what you are seeing

A simply supported square bending-plate approximation with 36 modes. Fundamental frequency sets its resonances; damping broadens their response. The marked point sets excitation position. Audio frequencies drive an averaged displacement-energy field, and particles drift towards its quieter regions.

Particle motion and shading are visual approximations. This is not a calibrated free-edge Chladni plate or a fluid simulation. Creative mode deliberately broadens resonance response. All plate controls affect the picture only.

03 / Stereo signal

ACTUAL OUTPUT

Left on the horizontal axis, right on the vertical. Centre-panned mono draws a diagonal; independently panned voices open up the figure.

04 / Presets & exports

KEEP YOUR DISCOVERIES

Browser presets store settings. Export JSON for a portable copy; project JSON also includes the source photograph. This engine uses its own preset format.

WAV renders the current settings from the start, at 44.1 kHz stereo, with a short final fade. Live slider moves are not stored as automation. Video records the plate and audible output in real time at 640 x 640; its format depends on your browser.

Ready. Load a photograph or try the sample.
Copy-and-paste HTML source

Copy this complete block into your custom HTML page. The code contains the layout, styling and engine. Your photo and presets are saved separately as project files.

Image processing and sound run locally in your browser. The original photograph remains unchanged. PNG exports use source dimensions; RAW files and preservation of print profiles or metadata are not supported.
